Can Idle Gossip on Message Boards Actually Be True????

I read on Fark today that a Texas A&M fan had broken the Rhett Bomar scandal about 7 months ago on their message board. The other fans on the board reacted exactly as you'd expect: they bashed the shit out of the guy and called him a bullshitter. Here's a link to the message in question. This just goes to show you that sometimes, just maybe, that wild and unsubstantiated rumor you see on your favorite board just might be true. But it's probably not.
