Wow...I just can't seem to get a grasp on why a lot of polls are ranking Boston College higher than South Florida. Is beating UMass by 10 points, and beating the likes of Notre, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, and Army in any way shape or form more impressive than beating Auburn, West Virginia, and kicking UCF's ass all over the great state of Florida?
ReplyDeleteI think you probably are going to worry yourself to death if you are scrutinizing mid season rankings, especially one blog's opinion.
ReplyDeleteThe Bulls have played Elon, Florida Atlantic and Central Florida.
ReplyDeleteThat's way more impressive than anything BC has done, right?
Needed thirteen minutes to think of a buttress to your initial comment?
ReplyDeleteUSF schedule is ranked 31st in the country at this point in the season, Boston College's is ranked 80th. They're undefeated too and they've beat better teams at this point. I really don't care...just sayin'. Gotta have something to talk about on a Tuesday morning.
ReplyDeleteScrew it, I agree that USF should be higher. This will be their only chance to win a Natty seeing as the NCAA is going to give them the death penalty in a year or two from the recruits they are getting.
ReplyDeleteSC doesnt belong in the top ten. They have been less than impressive the whole season. Factor in the Stanford loss and you get a team that is ranked way too high.
ReplyDeleteUSF just blew it. Along with everyone else this year. BC's loss is coming.
ReplyDeletefunny how everything evens out as the year goes huh? guess USF wasn't as "dominating" as we all gave them credit for. i still think they are a top 10 team easy, just not a top 3.
