JUST REMEMBER HOW BAD ASSED WE ARE

I've been doing nothing but watching all these highlight videos of our opponents all spring long. All our follies, stupid plays, and terrible game plans. I've fed off of our failures and bad plays that we made at the end of the season. Nothing but anger, just hatred running through my veins. Then, YouTube reminded me who we are. Up with hope, down with dope. Bring it on FSU.

  1. I like to pretend that we didn't lose that game and that Whitehurst didn't grossly overthrow a wide open receiver.

  2. It's nice to dream, isn't it?

  3. I wish you coulda been there. Right before Charles Bennett sacked the QB, I heard this noise that kinda sounded like a big military helicopter in a low gear. I look up, and the windows on the bow seats are shaking so hard they're making that noise. No lie, people say "the ground was shaking" as an expression, but this time, the ground really was rumbling beneath me. Scary, I thought the part of the stadium was gonna come down in some chaotic fashion...

  4. "Last month, University of South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier surprised an awards ceremony when he railed in public against the flag. He said if "anybody were ever to ask me about that damn Confederate flag, I would say we need to get rid of it."

Just another reason to hate Steve Spurrier... I wonder if those ignorant shamecocks will continue to follow him and recant their views on that issue.

  5. I think most Gamecock fans are willing to let a coach make statements such as that as long as he continues to win more than he loses. It was a good statement to make if it's his own personal convictions. We don't have to agree with him.
Do you think it hurts his standing with black high school coaches or black recruits? He was asked his opinion and he gave it.
My personal opinion is that coaches should stay out of politics, but as much as a way of life that football is to us all- that's tough to do.

  6. By the way - good series win with FSU this weekend. Pick up the NC State series and you guys may host a regional.

  7. Eh, we're not really badassed anymore. We show flashes of it every now and then, but all in all not really. I think it's come to the point that a lot of teams now see us as a little overhyped, a little overrated. A bump in the road. Because after all's said and done, we're no real threat to any titles.
